As the investigators were leaving they also cautioned us that activity may increase after they leave...We kind of chuckled - increase? We have events nearly every day!

The next day was all about SLEEP!  The investigators were here until almost 3 am and then we talked about the experience until well past 4 am.  If there was paranormal events, we were too tired to notice.

Just got prelimary photos back! Amazing energy captured AND a child in the window!

I also spent some time talking with one of the investigators who revealed to me that not only was our home haunted, but the one next to us as well!  She said that she saw a man watching the investigation from the garage.  I told her that house has been empty for weeks!  She described the man as a mechanic, beer drinker, never smiles, seems angry yet never explodes...I told her that sounds just like the previous owner!  I then told her that he dressed and did his hair like...and we both said James Dean!  She said it was possible that the spirit was influencing him. Crazy, right?  Well, that SAME neighbor came back to visit a few weeks later and after being away from the house for a month, he came back with flat, regular hair and a SWEATSHIRT! Never in a year and a half of knowing him has he worn anything but greased back, Dean-like hair and a white t-shirt.  Odd, but don't dismiss it - it gets even WILDER a few weeks later...

I let the dog out at 3am, before I left for work.  When I went to let him back in, I noticed the door was unlocked.  I NEVER, EVER leave it unlocked.  I opened the door - he wasn't there.  I called for him and even walked the yard - no Prancer.  I KNOW I let him out, because he drove me NUTS while I was trying to get ready.  I then searched the house - he was sleeping upstairs.  Did someone else let him in?

Sitting on the couch last night & my dog sat & stared where we took the picture of the little girl. He then began a low growl. They're back!

Of course, no one was in the corner and it isn't even near the sidewalk or a door.

That night, when my husband went up to bed, he could hear a man & a woman talking.  No TVs were on anywhere else in the house.  He slept with OUR TV on and a light for good measure...

I was trying to take a cat nap around 1 pm; however, I couldn't sleep because I could hear a man & a woman talking!  I got up and checked - no TVs were on and NO ONE was outside.  I gave up and began working on the computer.

We went to Saturday afternoon mass.  We all talked about how good it felt to be there and how safe.  About 15 minutes into the service, I could hear a woman calling my name.  Not whispering, but calling out.  I thought it was my mother, whom I invited to join us at the mass.  I couldn't see her anywhere.  It continued for the rest of the mass.  It was so loud that I kept looking for a mother calling to her child with my name, but we were the youngest people at that mass.  The more I tried to focus and ignore the calling out, the louder it got.  At times, it was so loud that I would jump and grab my husband and ask him if he heard it.  He did not.  Needless to say, I was pretty upset about that incident.  That was OUR church, OUR time to pray...I was also trying to figure out - was this one of our spirits that came along with us or was this a spirit that was already here and knew I could hear them?  Regardless, I was not happy.

While talking to one of the investigators on the phone, the connection was fine for the entire  hour-long conversation, at least until she tried to give me advice on the paranormal.  EVERY time she did, the phone cut out and I could not hear a word!  When she went back to discussing other topics, the connection returned to normal.  Paranormal? Hmmm...  I think it is very possible, as her theories GREATLY differ from mine.

Happy Halloween to us...All day long I experienced loud bangs - on pictures, large windows in the living room, kitchen...it was INSANE!

As I was walking through the kitchen, I saw a little girl in the reflection about 7 pm.  No one was on the other side and no little girls were in the house.
My husband had a HORRIBLE time sleeping that night.  EVERY time he would fall asleep, he was awakened to the sound of things falling & banging.  All.  Night.  Long.

"Friends" kept hubby up most of night. Just heard bootsteps upstairs. EVP time?

I DID decide to do an EVP session that day.  I set the recorder on the stairs as a LOT of activity was happening upsatirs, as well as downstairs.  I left it running and then left the house for 45 minutes.  The paranormal captures are SPECTACULAR!  Oh my goodness!  They are so good, and so numerous, that I ended up only cutting Class A EVPs after a while.  WOW!  They are SO active while we are gone.  And I realized our poor dog goes through a lot.  I always thought that he just sleeps while we are gone, but not so. He often runs towards the voices, here and there and everywhere!  No wonder he is always on edge... Okay, hear are just a few of the EVPs captured that day...

This first clip is before I left the house and while I am conducting my opening prayer.  I am at the other side of the house, so I am pretty quiet.  At :03, a man whispers (okay, I did cut a few Class B EVPs), "Can you hear me?"  At :05 a two-syllable word is said, it could be "April" or it could be "He moved." That one would have been chucked if it was by itself.  At :19, the man again whispers, "Not here."  I replayed it over and over again to see what part of the prayer I was at when I realized (WHEW!) I was at the part banishing demonic forces.  See?  They're just people and shouldn't be feared, just understood.

This is a pretty great capture!  I have left the house now.  It is empty, except for my dog.  No electronics are on.  This begins with my dog whimpering; however, at :02, there is a whisper, something like, "April, she's not here..." It is faint.  Then a man loudly whispers, "She's gone, " at :05.  At :08, a woman whispers something like, "She didn't even..." then clearly says, "Goodbye."  Am I supposed to say goodbye EVERY time I leave?  I'm lucky if I remember my purse!

Now begins the AMAZING EVPs...House is empty, right?  This is the first clip of many that have whispers, of course, and also a LOUD CLEAR CHILD.  We often capture a child and the child is WAY more clear than any other voice.  We also have captured a child in photos.  At :19, the child begins to speak with what sounds like, "Who is?"

FAVORITE ONE!!!  Again, you will hear the child again.  I don't even have to include times and you don't even need headphones.  The child makes a noise, then another that sounds like he/she is making a toy plane dive and this is immediately followed by a crash!  Wowie-Wow-WOW!

This next one again contains the child.  Before the child speaks, our dog walks a few steps and then possibly whines.  It could be the child, but when in doubt< I cannot count it.  However, AFTER that the child then says two syllables.  This is NOT my dog.  I have been listenging to recording s for a year and a half and have owned my dog for six years, this is NOT my dog.  What do you think the child says?  My husband guesses, "Sleeping." I think he/she says, "It's me."  Oh, and of course, there is other whispering throughout.

This clip has lots of whispers and that same crash noise from above, and it is immediately followed by a man whispering what sounds like, "April loves me."  Did he hit something to prove his point or is it the child still paying with his/her toy?

Again, the child is humming playfully.  Then, the crash happens again! It is immediately followed by a woman sternly talking to the child.

Here is an odd one.  I titled it WTF because I have NO idea what this is.  A SUPER LOUD sound or voice in an empty house, without ANYTHING left on - what is this!?!?!?! Oh, yes, and there are whispers...

This next lcip contains EVPs (whispers, of course) but the focus is actually on the loud noise in the middle of the clip. As I was listening, I immediately thought, "Oh, that's me getting up from the computer and walking somewhere."  Then I realized I AM NOT HOME!  We have an old (dah!) house with VERY creaky wood floors.  The noise is someone walking across the floor, then causing our dog to get up and walk with or away from them.  The small, 13 pound dog has never caused the floors to creak.  when he walks, all you ever hear is the clip-clip sound of his nails.  When I played it for my husband, he said the same thing - who is walking across the floor? Not anyone who is living...

Here's a nice, Class B EVP.  At about 16 seconds in, you hear a thud right next to the recorder then a voice whispers, "Is April here?" A woman whispers, "No..." and some other things.  You definitely need headphones for this one.

My dog goes a little crazy in this clip.  You can hear him whining and clip-cliping as he walks somewhere.  It is a great reference so that you can hear the difference between his whine (with the nose snort) and the child's voice.  Around 10 seconds in, you hear a faint knocking noise.  At 14 seconds in, a woman/girl says something like, "Get up," and this is followed by more knocking.  After this, the metallic voice says a few things.

Our dog gives up and you can hear him walk away (far away).  Then around 6 seconds, a woman aggressively whispers, "April," and a few seconds later a man says three syllables.  The last one is ful, so I am leaning towards, "Beaut-i-ful," but I am not sold on that.  What do you think?  Oh, and then a few seconds after that there is a loud BANG, much like the ones I was hearing on Halloween.

Our dog is going crazy again.  I KNOW that he can see/hear them.  He is whining in this clip.  With the whining, there seems like a question is asked around :01 - something like, "Have you..." and again, another possible question around :05.  I wasn't certain isn't wasn't a possible exhale noise form my dog.  At least, not until :07 when a woman whispers, with the whining, "She fucked him good."  Hey!  Again, they don't always mean us, they often talk about each other and they do seem to be able to fornicate because there is often a LOT of drama among them.  Oh, and don't hate me for typing the f-bomb, THEY used it, I just type it.  There is more whispering after this and then at :22, they mention our dog, "Prancer."

Here a woman whispers near the recorder, "It's neat..." around 3 seconds in.  The child then whines a response a few seconds later, one that sounds like, "It isn't.."  There is more whispers, the woman even whispers something like, "to be able to.."

Well, the child speaks again!  This time, there is whispering before and after, but he AMAZING part is around :11 when the child whines, "WHY?"

This one helps to prove one of our theories.  We do NOT believe that all of our spirits live (d) here.  We think they come and go.  In this clip, it's pretty quiet, and then around :16 there is a faint knock and a man whispers, "I have to go..."

Here's a new voice from today's recording.  At :22, a familiar man whispers something about me that begins, "April is.." blah, blah, blah.  Yup, they talk about me - and not always nice, but I don't know what he says.  Then, a deep-voiced man replies, "Yes."  There is ANOTHER voice at :30.

Child again...and whispers.  This time the child sounds relaxed and super sweet...

WOW!  What are they doing?  Around :09 in a man whispers something like, "Walk me out?" or "Let the dog out..." and then it is followed by a crash noise - like something being thrown.

Phew!  CRAZY!  I think that was THE most ACTIVE recording EVER!  I knew that investigative group stirred them up!  Well, you enjoy the clips above, feel free to comment your interpretations below...While you listen and read, I will be cutting another day's recording for you!

SugarSync Issues

Hello!  Just a quick update...We store our EVPs on SugarSync and even pay a monthly fee to do so.  We feel that our message is important enough to pay this.  SugarSync changed their service a week or so ago and when they did all of our links before the paranormal investigation are broken.  I have emailed them regarding this and will get the links repaired, but in the meantime, only EVPs from the paranormal investigation and forward are able to be heard.  Sorry about the inconvenience...

Paranormal Investigation Part IV

WOW!  Where have I been??? So sorry about the large span of time since my last posting, but LIFE happens.  We had Thanksgiving, Black Friday, company, renters moving out (not at this house), renters moving in - CHAOS!  But, it seems to have settled for a time so I thought I would get in a posting.  One of the investigators called this morning and AGAIN said they have caught the most evidence EVER on a case, and that they need more time to review the evidence.  Yup, that is our house - wild & haunted.  I have posted the remaining "best of the best" EVPs from that evening caught with my own recorder Olympus VN-702PC Voice Recorder V405171SU000 (Google Affiliate Ad).  Even though I haven't been posting, activity has been pretty wild!  We have even done some recordings over the past few weeks to eliviate some of the build up of energy they seem to possess; however, it is still pretty crazy.  I have been posting events as they happen on Twitter (#DailyGhostWhisp), so feel free to follow us if you want to keep up on everything instead of waiting for a post.  If you don't "do" Twitter, no problem, I will of course fill you in as we get there!  So, put in your ear buds and enjoy a few of the OH SO MANY voices captured that night in October when the Tri County Paranormal group came to investigate...

CLASS A EVP Picking up where I left off before....the investigators are doing an informational tour for their records.  Linda, one of the investigators is doing most of the talking about our home's history, although I do respond.  ONLY FEMALES are speaking at this point; however, at :13 a man says loud & clear, "Catch me."  We then walk into another room and this is met with whispers.

This clip has the investigators still doing a tour.  They speak loudly and very clearly - there is NO mistaking their voices.  An unknown voice whispers into my recorder, "The blonde is gonna have a heart attack," at :05.  Whether it be slang speak for a tension among the living or dead, or just rudeness on the spirit's part, I don't know.  As I have stated over and over, I do NOT take everything we capture at face value and I do NOT believe them to predict the future.

The investigators are still working on the tour, talking to the video camera, as well as us.  While they are talking, a spirit voice says something like, "I don't WANT to..." at :12 and is quickly met with a spirit response of, "I don't care" at :15.

The next clip features your's truly asking the questions of our spirits.  We are all seated in our dark family room - a room away from this recorder.  You can hear me ask how many people actually live here each day and then a response at :07 of "Nine people" or "Ninety people."  I would hope only nine, as it is not that big of a home!  I then ask them how many come and visit then leave each day and I hear a familiar girl's voice say, "Heff" or something like that.  We have caught that same word numerous times over the months and think it is a name.

This next clip has the same situation.  Still a room away.  I ask them if they can knock twice and then you hear a growl at which point I admit that was me (my stomach was rumbling all night).  After a few more seconds, near my recorder you can hear two light knocks at :11.

This next clip has one of the investigators leading the questions using genealogy information.  She begins listing off names of the children that once lived here and after she says Byron, a voice whispers, "Don't call me that."  It does overlap her voice at the end; in fact, there are so many great clips that I haven't shared due to them talking while someone else is talking.  This one, however, is pretty obvious.  Listen close around :24...

Same situation...same investigator asking for particular people.  After she says Emeline, a man whispers my name at :05, "April..." He might even say a sentence like, "April is a goon." ? Not certain about that, BUT I am certain about my name...

CLASS A EVP In this next clip the investigator asks my husband and I to sing, to encourage them to sing along.  The clip begins with me asking, "You mean Jon and I?" And she says, "Yes."  I then remark that we are not very musical and we laugh.  At :08, a voice whispers, "Sure you are."  I am CERTAIN that is not ANY of the investigators as they were extremely professional and made sure that NO ONE whispers.  The "no, no" that is mixed in was me further commenting on the suggestion to sing.  That one is a definite B+ EVP, but the girl speaking clearly at :10 saying, "It burns," is a Class A all the way.  I then comment that I rumbled (I warned you, it happened all night - WAY too much coffee!).

This one immediately follows the clip before and the two investigators are talking about a game of singing with the spirits and in between words, a child (a boy?) says, "That was you," at :03.
That Was You

DISEMBODIED VOICE - CLASS A This next one begins with my husband talking about an experience and the investigators are talking with him.  At :07 a high pitched, metallic voice clearly says, "Hello!"  Then the same voice speaks with my husband and says, "Help me..." at :11.  Immediately another investigator comments that he heard something and I say that I did too.  He said it sounded like a baby crying, but I remark it was more of a whine.  This is not considered an EVP, as we actually heard it with our own ears AND captured it on a recording.  This is a voice without a body - a disembodied voice.

This next one is probably considered a Class B or C, but it is pretty cool to hear the lead investigator remark about all of the things he has been hearing - and it is still early on in the investigation!  It makes us chuckle - that is what we live with every day!  Spirit voice-wise, a woman speaks with them at :01 & :04, a woman whom is not one of us...

Paranormal Investigation Part III

Continuing with the evening of the paranormal investigation...Here are some more EVPs captured that evening while I had set up my  own recording device while they were taping with their equipment.

This clip is still during set up.  Only one person is in the house and he walks through the living room and family room at the beginning.  After he has left the area a familiar spirit voice calls out for me at :08, "April."  There is more whispers but that is the clearest.  At the end the person comes back into the room.  I would rate this EVP a Class A-.  Yep, I get to add a minus as I am licensed teacher and am trained to evaluate with pluses and minutes.

This next one is when I am talking with one of the investigators about their equipment and roles.  Just Linda and I are talking, which will be EASY for you to pick out.  There is a third voice in this clip, even though there were only two of us.  Right at the end (:27) a spirit voice whispers something right after I speak, something that sounds like, "And you go me I bet."  It is not perfectly clear, so I would rate it a Class B EVP.

This next one again features Linda  an investigator.  She tags the time for her recorder then leaves to get everyone to come in for an active EVP session.  After she has left and the house is empty, a voice whispers, "Watch it!" at :09.  I do let the recording run longer so that you are able to hear the silence - we are NOT picking up our voices once we leave the house.  I would rate this one a Class B+ EVP.

This next one features a young girl.  It's a quiet whisper, but is easy to understand and hear with earphones/buds.  Empty house, but at :17 a girl quietly says, "They made me watch it."  She says more later, but this is the most clear.  Although I can decipher it easily, I would rate this a Class B- EVP because of the volume.  Could this be the girl in the photo I posted a few days ago?? IT was captured right about the same time as the picture was taken.  Was the "Watch it" EVP above actually directed at her?

In this next clip I am giving Linda tour of the house so she knows what we refer to each of the rooms as.  When we come into the family room, she is confirming the names and a child-like voice speaks with her at :15, "April fought us."  I don't understand what that means and I can't even phathom a guess, as it may be a part of their conversation that we were not able to hear  Class B EVP.

In this clip, we are all a few rooms away in the kitchen.  The paranormal investigators are preparing to record a clip about some of the events we have experienced in the various rooms.  Jim, the lead investigator and camera man is talking during this.  At :08, he says, "Audio problems..." followed immediately by a voice in THIS room saying, "IT was me..." Jim then says that he will change his battery again and this is followed by a creepy laugh at :18, "Ho-ho."  I originally thought it might have been Linda, the other investigator in the house at the time, but she actually responds quietly and seriously (Not finding humor at all), "Yes," at the same time as the laugh.

This next clip follows the previous clip.  Jim and I go to change his battery, leaving my husband and Linda talking in the kitchen.  There are whispers here & there but there is a woman's laugh at :16, that is NOT Linda, and she is the only female in the house at this time.  There is also an odd noise at :27 that I cannot figure out.  It is not a noise I have heard over the years, any ideas?

This next clip Jim & I have returned and we begin taping.  There are spirit whisperings throughout - things about the house and so forth, but there is a CLEAR shout out to my sister, some of our spirits preferred person, "Tigger" at :15.  She had called earlier because she was so curious about the investigation, so is this a delayed response to her call or simply a request for her?

Well, my family has all woke up and are watching different TVs, so I guess that is my clue to post what I have and continue at a later date (as it is IMPOSSIBLE to hear anything with all that noise!).  I am only up so early on a Saturday because I heard a ball bouncing in my room.  I woke up at 5am and just listened to it bounce and bounce.  I ended up getting up and checking the entire house - everyone was sleeping and no bouncing balls.  I will post this when my blog reached November; however, if you want more updates in real time - follow us on Twitter at #DailyGhostWhisp .I try to update it as each event happens.  If you don't Twitter, no worries!  I will always post all the paranormal events we experience on this blog!  Check back often, as they have been SO active, sleep is rarely deep or long...

Paranormal Investigation AMAZING Photo!

Hello, friends & followers!  Sorry it has been sooo long since my last post, but life has taken precedent over the dead.  I want to give you something to look at while I am listening to more EVPs from the investigation.  This photo was taken by one of the investigators during the investigation.  It was just a basic photo she took of our home as she walked around the perimeter of our property.

She took a BUNCH of photos from outside and in some of those she captured the orbs & energy from the previous posting.  This "normal" picture gave her pause, however, as she noticed something on lower front right window.  All people are on the right-side porch with the light on.  No one was in the house, yet there was this odd brown spot in the window.  She zoomed and and realized it was a teddy bear.  Odd.  She sent it to me immediately and I confirmed that there are no teddy bears on the porch or in the window.  Only a small patio set is on the porch, and it barely (no pun intended) reaches the window.  I then asked her what about the child BEHIND the bear?  She has not seen it at first - focusing on the bear only, but sure enough - a clear child's face is peeking out from behind the bear!  Here is the zoomed in picture, without enhancement.

She then sent me a black and white version of the amazing photo... She can see the child more clearly in the black and white; although, I prefer the color.  See which one you prefer!

Again, no bears were near that window and we didn't have a single child on the property for the investigation...

Activity since they have investigated has been increasing in amount and strength.  Instead of 3-4 paranormal events a week, we are now experiencing 3-4 per DAY!  Check back to hear the stories and listen to more of our EVPs...

Paranormal Investigation, Part 1

Paranormal Investigation Part I

End of September went as follows...

After the last post, the next activity that I recorded was on September 20.  I was home alone all day (as usual) and ALL day, I heard someone upstairs.  I heard banging, footsteps and just MOVEMENT.  Every time I went up to investigate, there was NO explanation.  The dog wasn't even up there.  The final time I went up to investigate, I heard someone in my closet.  Of course, no one was in there.
The next day, I saw a dark shadow walk through our kitchen.  It was a tall, slender shadow that actually walked.  No one was home but me, and of course, there was no reasonable explanation.
On the 24th, I was resting on the family room couch around noon.  I heard two women having a conversation.  It grew so loud that I turned off the TV and went to the porch, expecting to see them out the window.  No one was there.  I even went outside and walked around, but could find no one.
On the 25th, I was in the bathroom and of course our Papillion came with me.  The saying is that once you own a Papillion, you will never use the bathroom alone again (and it's true!).  He was staring at me (as usual) but then he must have got bored because he stood up and faced the closed, latched door.  The moment he did, it clicked open and let him out.  No windows or doors were open (to maybe create a draft or pull).
The next few days were relatively quiet; at least until the 30th.  That evening, I was actually the last one to bed (RARELY HAPPENS).  I walked the main floor and turned all of the lights off.  When I woke up at 2:25 am for work, the OUTSIDE light was on!  I had specifically turned this one off as I don't want to give anyone light to break into our front door.  I did not leave by that door that morning...

On Monday, October 1st, I was in the family room when I clearly heard a man say, "Help!"  I told him that I was sorry but I couldn't do a recording for a few more weeks, as the paranormal group asked us to refrain from recordings to help them conserve their energy.  Yes, I actually speak out loud to them.  Quite often, in fact.
It seemed to help the activity level as we didn't have anything paranormal happen again until Friday the 5th.  My son stayed home from school, sick.  While he was resting on the couch, I rubbed his hair next to him.  We both then heard someone walking around upstairs.  The dog was at his feet, so I knew there was no reason for it but I told him not to worry and that I would go check it out.  I went upstairs (to the EMPTY upstairs) and shut all the doors.  I made up an excuse for my son and he fell asleep.  The next time I went up there, his bedroom door was open - the same door I had closed but an hour before!  I also saw shadows high on the family room wall, as well as in the kitchen.
On the 9th, my dog refused to come into the kitchen.  He sat, shaking at the threshold, unable to eat, drink or go outside...
Early on the 10th, I got up for work and heard my husband's phone beeping that it was dead.  I went and set up the charger for him.  When I told him about this that afternoon, he said that was impossible as he had charged it FULLY before he went to bed at 10 pm.  Somehow, it had been completely drained in four hours!  My husband then remarked, "They are getting ready for something big!"  My dog STILL wouldn't come into the kitchen that day and to make it worse for him, he now sat at the threshold to the bathroom, shaking as well!
The next morning when I got up for work, I could smell toast.  The air was THICK with the aroma!  I was certain my husband made some a few hours before and that was the reason.  When I checked with him later, however, he said that no one had cooked anything all night.
On the 12th, when I got up, I was leaving and I turned on the outside light (I only turn it on when I leave).  The brand new Feit 18 Watt Par38 ECOBulb CFL Outdoor Bulb BPESL18PAR38T (Google Affiliate Ad) CFL bulb that I had changed the DAY BEFORE was dead.  I had even checked it when I changed it and it was fine!  When I got to work, my 6 month old watch was dead at 12:30 am.  I couldn't believe it!  I didn't do a thing other than curse a little under my breath.  When I looked at it at 4:30 am, it started working again and hasn't stopped since!  I checked with the electrician at work and he said there is no explanation for the brand new CFL bulb to not work.  When I finally arrived home from work that day, I walked in and could hear a woman talking.  I called out, certain it was my mom or daughter.  After a thorough search, no source of the voice could be found.  Our "friends" were certainly trying to get our attention!
The next day, when my husband and I woke up BOTH of our phones were DEAD.  Needless to say, we had charged both the night before.  That night, our normally calm, warm home had a "creepy" feeling for both my husband and I all night.
On Sunday, the 14th, my husband and I heard voices throughout the morning.  When I was alone in the living room, a man whispered into my ear, "I see you."  This is unusual as when we hear voices, they are normally muffled and "distant."  I explained to the man why we haven't been recording and that we know they are here.  As I left the empty room, the man called out loudly, "April!" Later that afternoon,, I was talking to my sister on the phone.  If you are new to the site - she has a history with our house and many of the spirits often call out for her.  While we were talking, the phone went to speaker without me pressing that button.  When I tried to get her off speaker, I couldn't!  I could get the other buttons to work, but I couldn't get her off speaker!  I even went and had my husband try, but he couldn't either!  They wanted to hear her, I guess.  I had to finally hang up with her and call her back in order to remove the speaker phone function.  The next day, my husband came down the stairs around 4 am and when he reached the landing he heard two loud knocks come from behind him.  He tried to find the source, but he said it could have only come from the bookcase.
The 17th was quiet.  Phew!
The 18th, however, wow.  I colored my hair and while I was doing that in my empty house, I could hear muffled whispers like, "What's she doing? What color?"  It was cute and I told them to wait and see.  It was cute until I got in the shower to rinse it out.  While I was rinsing it, my hand hit something hard by the top of my head.  I immediately jerked my head around, expecting to see that I had hit the shower head, but NO.  The shower head was WAY too high.  Nope, I hit one of their hands. I am 100% certain.  I told that spirit to leave the shower and that no one was allowed in the shower with me.  I was upset and probably sounded angry.  When I finished my tirade, I went back to rinsing my hair and was scalded by the water.  I had to jump out to adjust it and found that the faucet had been turned all the way to the max.  Our control knob is WAY back from the bath nozzle - there is NO way it could be bumped and I had only had it turned slightly more than halfway.  When I got out of the shower and was brushing my hair, I saw a head peek around the corner of the stairs to look.  It was fast, but I could tell it was a man, about 6 1/2 feet tall.  The rest of the afternoon was filled with muffled voices.  People often ask why we record - THIS is why.  If we don't give them a way to release their energy and be heard, they do more and more to get our attention.

The next day was pretty quiet, although we weren't home very much.

The 20th was the day that the paranormal team came to investigate.  Jon (my hubby) awoke to a dead phone, AGAIN.  While we were waiting for the investigators, my son was on the computer, my husband was in the kitchen, yet I could hear someone in boots walking around upstairs.  We were so relieved that they would finally be able to get out their message and ENERGY! The group's name is the Tri-County Paranormal Investigators and to be honest, I had mixed feelings about them coming.  I felt that we have done a great job of collecting evidence so that we can speak about our situation freely as we have evidence to back it up.  I also feel quite comfortable with our situation and we don't really need any help coming to terms with it.  I was willing to let them come in order to gain more research on our home.  I had done research, but I was always looking for more.  My husband, on the other hand, felt that having a third party to come in and validate our claims would give our family's story more credibility.  Well, the day of the investigation, we both started to get nervous that our "friends" wouldn't show up for just anyone.  Well, our nerves were for nothing.  Within five minutes of arriving, one of the investigators had been saying that he had never had an actual "experience" on site and sure enough, him and I both heard a voice and something moved behind him.  He was super excited after that!  And I will tell you this, after they arrived and began setting up, I was super excited as well.  They were so professional and had more equipment than I have EVER seen!  I have watched Ghost Hunters, Paranormal State, Ghost Adventures...NONE of these shows has more equipment!  They brought 9-12 infrared cameras, a bionic ear, EVP pumps, a spirit box, EMF detectors, an Ovulus, numerous recorders, digital cameras, thermometers - you name it and they probably didn't have just one, but many!  They also came with five investigators and pages and pages of research.  What a team!  That night, the entire team was pretty impressed by our "team" of spirits.  Every member of their team had an experience.  Here are a few highlights:

• Member heard a "pop"/yawn sound behind him
• 2 women heard a child walking/dancing/playing on an empty porch
• Cameras turned off over NINE times
• Frequent cold spots
• An investigator had her hair pulled TWICE
• We all witnessed a candle phenomena (to be discussed in up coming posts)
• Cat noises in a cat-free home (animal free, that night)
• One investigator felt pressure on chest
• Another investigator heard dishes move in the kitchen as well as a light go on at that same time
• One investigator for over twenty years continuously heard conversations and voices from empty floors/rooms
• Frequent goosebumps
• Shadows not lining up or where shouldn't be shadows 

Needless to say, it was an exciting night for all!  My husband and I didn't get to sleep until 4 am.  Even my daughter, her boyfriend, my stepdad and brother-in-law stopped over to witness the investigation.  My stepdad came over dripping in doubt and skepticism but left a total believer.  I will spend the next few postings discussing and sharing evidence from this investigation.  They are still reviewing the hours and hours of evidence, but have shared some of the pictures with me.  The one featured above is an orb captured that evening outside our home.  I have never been a believer in orbs, at least not what I have seen on TV shows. I DO believe most of them are bugs and/or dust.  The one pictured above and the ones pictured below have really opened my mind.  I know for a fact there were NO bugs out that night (too cold!), no moisture, heck! There wasn't even a breeze!  The top one from below was actually captured in our bedroom.  And the "orbs" that the investigator, Nikki, caught were actual energy and emitting their own light.  I was pretty amazed.  Some even have human faces inside...the prism one has legs and arms outstretched! Nikki also caught an AMAZING picture of a child with a teddy bear on our empty porch, but I think I will save that one for next posting!

While they were investigating in the kitchen and family room, I left my Olympus recorder running at the end of set-up in the living room and let it record for about an hour and 40 minutes.  I had to discard the first 25 minutes, as there were so many people walking around and talking that counting something as paranormal was almost impossible. Due to the LARGE amount I have already shared with you, I will just give you a few EVPs to listen to...at least for tonight!  Be sure to check back frequently for more pictures and evidence captured from that night!

This clip has one of the investigators testing walkie-talkies in the family room.  He is the only one in the room, yet you can hear another man whispering in the room while the investigators are working.  At :02 & :04 it sounds like a man whispers, "April," and then he says something at :07.  I think it sounds like, "I love you, baby," but I am not sure which makes this clip a Class B EVP.

This next clip is from an empty house.  At :02, you can hear an investigator way in the background as he is the last to leave the house.  At :07, a man whispers, "April."  At :10, the same man whispers,"I don't see it" or "I don't see her."  You decide...

This next one again is from an empty house.  Everyone is in the garage setting up and/or outside.  The humming noise is the computer that the recorder is sitting by.  From :01-:03 there is indecipherable sentences from spirits, but at :04 a man clearly says, "April's in there."  At :12 a woman says something else like, "Where's she at?" or "What's that?" or "Where's Dad?"

As Promised...EVPs!

People often ask us what "special equipment" we use to capture our EVPs.  I always shrug and say, just a basic digital voice recorder.  We use the type pictured above.  We originally bought the cheapest one we could find (ahem! Wal-Mart), but ended up returning it for two reasons: 1) it was NOT easy to use; everything had sooo many steps and it wasn't doing the basic things that we wanted and 2) the quality of the recording was pretty crappy.  When you listen for "ghost whispers" or EVPs, less interference and background humming or scratchiness is best!  So returned it and stepped up a few notches to this make and model and have been using it happily for over a year!  It is so easy to use, never has had a technical issue and creates some pretty clear recordings.  Maybe someday we'll upgrade again...or maybe not!

Okay, so as promised, here are some of the best recordings that we captured on September 18, 2012.  We recorded a long EVP session in the living room where my husband took the picture of the little girl.  The children were all out of the house, so my husband and I thought it would be a perfect time to do an EVP session.  They had been ACTIVE leading up to this, and we like to do recordings when they are active because 1) they are trying to get our attention, so let's give it to them in a constructive way and 2) they use a lot of energy communicating to us through the recorder, so activity "dies" down some afterwards.  I usually list the EVPs in chronological order, but today, I thought I would group them by ratings - CLASS A EVPs, CLASS B EVPs and OBJECT MANIPULATION.  OF course, the teacher in me still put them in chronological order within the subgroups... All doors & windows were closed, no TVs or radios were on, and we were the only ones home.  While doing the longer EVP session in the living room, my husband and I spent a lot of time in other rooms and even working outside.  One of them flung a pen off the table while I was in the kitchen and I tried to get them to go into the living room to use their energy more productively.  I returned to the kitchen and almost to say, "Hey, we want to be in here and you're not listening" they then dropped a pan into another pan, causing a loud clatter.  I took the hint and did a short session in by me in the kitchen after that.  Here are the best of the best from that day...

Class A EVPs

I am walking around in the kitchen which is a few rooms away from the recorder.  There are whispers in this clip, but a very clear man loudly whispers, "I could've..." at :08.

In this next clip, I am calling back a member of the paranormal group to change the time.  The woman talking is me.  I am in the kitchen 3-4 rooms away and when I discuss changing the times, at :11 a male whispers, "Crap!  They're coming!"  Hmmm...not fans of paranormal groups? Or are they talking about one of them coming?  You never know...

In this clip, I am talking to my husband about the phone call and while I am talking, a man loudly whispers, "Curls."  I don't know why.  I thought it might have been girls - at least that would make more sense, but no. At :13, a quiet whisper of "April" can be heard with headphones and at :21 the tin-man voice speaks along with the door that opens, "Let me help..." Oh, and did they ever help!  That is, if they are referring to the investigation (again, a teaser of what is to come!)

Just tested this next one and yes, you can hear it with just the speakers turned up.  My husband and I are no longer in the house.  You can hear our dog walk in and out.  They like to play with him when we are not around.  So you hear them play with him, but then at :15 a man loudly whispers, "that's Courageous..."

Class B EVPs

I would give this one a solid B+ rating.  I just stumbled across it as I have to go back and re-listen to EVERY EVP since we began (over 5,000!).  This wasn't in the original posting for this date; however, as I was looking for the ones selected for the site, I heard this one and almost spit out my coffee!  A man is whispering during this clip - it is NOT my husband (whom is in the garage).  About three seconds in he begins with a loudly whispered question, "You like to buy a couch and leave?" and then, "I'll give you three bucks for it."  A few things strike me about this clip - they can go to the bathroom, fornicate and BUY THINGS?  Wild!  Also, three bucks for a couch?  What would that date this gentleman around? Forties or fifties? I guess it depends on the condition of the couch.  Still, pretty cool!

This one is pretty loud, I feel it is only a B due to the fact that I am not certain about what is being said.  You can hear me walking around in another room, even clear my throat towards the end.  At :05 there is a loud whisper into the recorder that sounds like, "Secret."  At :13, I swear they again whisper loudly, "Like Nicorette."  Who knows?  I just share what we capture...

This next one, I am walking through our kitchen and right away, as I walk, a woman says something with my footsteps, something that sounds like, "She's coming." At :11, there is a whisper and then I walk into the bathroom, closing the door making a bell sound.  Immediately following that is a whisper of my name, "April" at :23.

In this next one, the house is STILL empty.  The clicking noise in the beginning of the clip I believe is my dog (he bites his nails, no lie!).  At around :09 the whispering begins.  At :16 a child whispers, "Much better..." At :19, a man orders, "April, watch me."

In this next one, the house is STILL empty.  In fact, it is so similar to the previous one that I had to listen and re-listen to make sure I had them correct.  This one is pretty much the same EXCEPT that a child loudly whispers/orders... Again, the clicking noise in the beginning of the clip I believe is my dog (he bites his nails, no lie!).  At around :09 the whispering begins.  At :15 the man says something to the child and the child replies, "Much..." At :19, the child orders, "Watch me."

This one is captured in the kitchen.  And for all of the people who think ghosts are so scary, all they need to hear is this guy's message!  A man whispers throughout, so make sure those headphones are on!  At :02, he whispers, "Love you, Bro."  At :04 a woman softly whispers, "Is it?"  At :06, HE then whispers, "I love you..."  At :08, he says, "Come on."  At :10, he sings his whisper and it sounds something like, "I love April" or people, but after the Tigger remark up top, I'm gonna take it as "April!"  At :16 he get quieter, but you can still hear, "love you..." and at :20 a woman says, "Who cares?"

Not EVPs, but OBJECT MANIPULATION

This first one is when I was taping in the living room, but was in the kitchen 3-4 rooms away.  You can here something fall, then I say, "You're in the wrong room, go in the living room."  I then walk them into the living room (you can hear whispers during this clip as well - those ARE EVPs) and I inform the recorder that a pen flew off the table - a pen that had been in the middle of the table.

This next one is long, so if you do decide to listen to it be prepared for a few things.  One thing is that it is a little over a minute long, so depending on your computer it will be slower to download.  The second thing is that you MAY want to remove hearing devices as it involves pans hitting each other.  Now back to the clip.  People often ask us what it's like to live in a "haunted" house.  This clip is a nice idea of what we go through. Again, the recorder is in the living room, I am in the kitchen 3-4 rooms away.  My husband is actually in the garage.  At the beginning of the clip, you will hear pans clang loudly.  A few seconds later I say, "You guys are in the wrong room."  I was nowhere near the pans that made the loud noise.  When my husband comes in from the garage I tell him what happened and he then goes about trying to re-create the sound I heard (more clangs).  The only way we were able to replicate the sound was by dropping a pan into another pan from 6 inches above!  I then tell them again that they are in the wrong room.  That is what it's like living here. Hearing noises & voices, seeing objects move and seeing apparitions and then trying to disprove it as paranormal.  Just a typical afternoon in our household!  Oh, and yes, for you with the trained ears - there certainly are whispers, and quite a few shout-outs for me...

Oh my goodness!  So sorry that it has taken me so long to post; however, we have some EXCITING events happen.  We were contacted by a very reputable paranormal investigative group regarding our home.  The week before they arrived (after my last post), we spent cleaning EVERY nook and cranny as I was terrified that on the one camera they catch an apparition that it would also reveal a mess of dust.  well, guess what, after cleaning EVERY room from top to bottom as though we were preparing it for sale (which we are NOT), dust still showed in the cameras!  And they put a camera in a cabinet that we had not been in ages and OF COURSE, everyone gather around as we noticed a strange, stringy substance appear.  Paranormal?  Nope, just a spider, spinning a web in front of the camera.  Lesson?  You will NEVER have your house prepared to be filmed.  EVER.  So what did they catch?  Any great stories?  YES!  They had numerous of things happen and are reviewing video and sound recordings this week & next.  Plus, my blog is in chronological order, so I must catch up to that date before i can share stories...

Last I wrote, I we had seen the little girl in the photo and I did an EVP session the next day.  The following day (9/11/12), I came home to an empty house and went directly into the living room to turn on the computer.  While I stood there waiting for it to boot up, I heard a door slam.  I immediately though - oh, front door must not have been closed.  I went to see and as I passed the basement door and it was WIDE OPEN!  Just a refresher for you, hubby won't go in basement.  Creeps him out.  Seriously, has not been down there since February.  Odd basement, sunken in area where water used to come in (?), collapsing sand/concrete walls, a door that is attached in the middle of a wall.  Odd.  My sister, just a few months ago,heard someone, "Trying to get out."  In fact, she hasn't returned since.  I am the only one who goes down there, but it has been a few weeks.  The door does not have a handle, so you have to use a hook & eye latch to close it.  Needless to say, it is ALWAYS closed.  Well, until that day.  And I , whom is RARELY EVER creeped out in my house had to muster all of my inner power to reach into the darkeness and grab the door.  Later, while I was working on EVPs at the computer, I noticed a marker rolling back and forth on the computer desk.  I tried to get it to roll by moving my chair, jumping around and shaking the desk (NONE of which I was doing at the time, by the way).  The only way I could get it to roll was by touching it, but even then, it only rolled one way - not back and forth.  Around 6 pm that evening, my hubby and I were sitting on the porch, discussing our day when I saw my phone light up.  It was sitting, untouched on the small table between us.  I told Jon to look, and we watched as it chose my contacts, then scrolled to physical therapy, chosing "TEXT" and began typing, "XXXXXXXXXXCXXXXXXXXXXX..."I couldn't get it to stop!  I tried pushing the back button, the home button - I couldn't get it to stop!  My husband saw this and was flabbergasted.  Then, just as suddenly as it started, the phone shut off.

On September 13, 2012, my hubby was so intrigued by the little girl int he photo that he went around the house taking pictures with his LG phone Virgin Mobile LG Optimus Elite VML696LGKIT476 (Google Affiliate Ad).  Nothing was out of the ordinary until he got to the kitchen.  He took a picture of the table, facing the window overlooking our porch.  He noticed something off in the picture.

Can you spot it?  I couldn't until he expanded it for me.  Middle on far left, something "off."  When he expanded it, you could clearly see a brunette woman, with her hands behind her, looking at the kitchen.  She is small, though, so we were confused...until my sister realized - it's her reflection from inside the kitchen!  Her torso is in front of the blue and white checkered pot on the railing; in fact, it is even in front of the railing!

And no, it's not my husband, as he doesn't not have breasts like this woman CLEARLY does!

We spent the next few days without any recordable incidents.  On Sunday, the 16th, however, my husband was in the bathroom when he heard a hissing sound coming from the vent.  No air conditioning was on and no heat was on.  What should have been a quiet vent, was not!

The next day, I was bummed out again regarding my daughter's sudden move out.  As I was writing our weekly schedule, teary-eyed from the lack of her events on the calendar, a man LOUDLY and HARSHLY whispered in my ear, "Go get the GIRL!"  I decided at that point that I w ould do an EVP session the very next day...Check back soon as I share the BEST captures from the two sessions that we did the next day, as well as updates on the ghost hunt!  Also, feel free to follow us on Twitter under Daily Ghost Whispers for updates from our house as they happen!

After the last recording on the 4th of September, things didn't stay quiet for long.  On Thursday, September 6, 2012, my husband came downstairs in the morning and as he approached the bottom, he clearly saw a young girl standing in our living room, facing the staircase.  He didn't recall the face, but vividly described the brown, plaid, floor-length dress she was wearing.  By the time he realized what he saw, she was gone.

Sunday, September 6, he took an innocent picture of our son sharing headphones with his friend while they listened to the computer in the living room.  He didn't use an special camera, just his camera on his phone.  When he looked at the picture, he noticed something odd in the picture.  Behind them, the French doors were open, as well as the front door - but the shadows looked "off."  A little back ground info, he spent years playing a video game in the bars where you look for differences between two pictures.  The faster you did it, the more points you earned.  I think this improved his to detail - especially in pictures.  Alright, back to the picture.  Once he realized the door's shadow wasn't a straight vertical line, he looked closer and immediately recognized the girl in the picture.  It was the same girl he had seen in the same room just a few days ago.  She is clearly watching and enjoying the boys playing on the computer.  Here is the completely unedited picture...

She is standing behind the French door.  I couldn't see her right away, but when I looked for the straight vertical line, I could instantly pick out the shoulder, then the smiling face with curls, and a dark jumper over a high-necked  white shirt.  My husband then took numerous more pictures, trying to recreate it, to see if it was just an optical illusion or visual matrixing.  He couldn't reproduce it. Below, I used the "shadows" edit tool on Windows Photo Gallery and cropped it.  That is basically all the editing I know how to do, but even when I increased the shadows, they went right around the girl's shape.

The VERY next day, I did a recording in the living room.  I even left toys out for the girl if she wanted to play with them.  I left the recording going, while I worked on the computer.  I was the only one home.  No TVs or radios were on.  All of the doors and windows were shut.  

In the first clip I will share with you, I am tagging the recording, stating facts about the setup.  I then take a picture and then leave to get a flashlight as my phone doesn't have a flash.  I then come back and state that I will use a different one (camera).  I take a picture.  All of that I account for, the other voices, I don't; like the one at :03, a man, who says, "Let's just cool it."  Or the woman who calls to me after I leave the room at :13.  Or the one who talks between my words at :20 that says, "Michelle is the shower."

This next one I would classify as an "A" recording.  I am finishing my opening prayer - you can hear me three rooms away, and as I pause at :03, a voice whispers INTO the recorder, "Crap!"  If I would have made that noise you would have heard me walk through the rooms, as we have creaky old wood floors.  I then move around in the kitchen, even prepare to go outside.  At :07, two of them speak together  so it is not clear.  The man says something like, "Grab some" in a whisper and a girl also says something, but I can't make it out, even though she is more clear.

This next clip is while I am, in fact, outside.  NO ONE is in the house.  It should be quiet, like it is for much of this clip.  EXCEPT, however, at :04, when a menacing voice says, "They took it."

This next clip is not an EVP.  Oh, sure, there are whispers in this clip, but since they aren't clear, I am not counting it.  I come in from outside and say something like "anything you heard before now wasn't me."  I then stay in the kitchen, still THREE rooms away.  They interesting thing about this clip is that the camera turns on - right next to the recorder!

I did want to take a second and explain why some of the clips are so long when I am only looking at one or two seconds as paranormal.  The reason I do that is that when we first started recording, we made short, right to the point clips.  The problem with them was that they were hard to hear if you didn't know what to listen for.  I try to have some time before and after so you are used to the "normal" sounds of that location at that time.  Sometimes, though, I cut them short due to events before or after - like if my dog barks...WOW! It is loud!  Especially when you have headphones on and the volume up.  I usually cut clips before that happens.  Okay, back to the evidence...

Here is the perfect example.  This one is SHORT.  I set down my coffee cup on the glass computer table and it sounds like knocks.  A man SAYS (Class A EVP, Mom!), "Think someone's at the door."  I had to cut it right after because my little papillion barks after that.

I believe this one is my favorite of all the ones captured that day.  At :12 a woman whispers, "April...Can you...help me? Can you?"  at :18, she sounds frustrated and more loudly says, "Hey!" and follows that with a soft, "dammit..." A man hushes her at :24 with a loud, "Enough!"

Talk about a clear voice - at :23, there is a loud exhale that also sounds like a name we have gotten before, "Heff...moved."  In fact, Heff gets blamed for most of the things that get thrown or moved!

I wasn't going to put this next one on, as there are already SO many that I shared.  Also, the "It's always something..." right away at :01 is a B as a man whispers it.  The "It won't" at :18 changed my mind as it is so loud and clear...

It Won't

Okay, I HAVE to share this one.  It is my new favorite of the day.  well, tied for favorite.  A woman whispers in the beginning, then clearly says, "Carmen" at :05.  At :08, the tin voice says, "Get out of here."  There are numerous other whispers afterwards and it ends with a tinkle noise that I cannot place.  There is nothing that makes that noise near the computer and our dog doesn't wear a collar.

NOPE!  This one receives an A+ rating.  WOW.  I think it may even make our all time favorite clips on the right side...At :03 a man LOUDLY whispers, "Help me!"  At :11 a woman CLEARLY says, "I bet you do."

This isn't as good as the previous one, but it still makes the cut.  It is the "Tin" sounding voice and I think it's important to share so that you all can hear that it is not house sounds making that voice, but it IS an actual voice.  At :02, it says, "If you ask me...perfect butt."  At :07, it sounds like, "A childs..."  At :11 it says, "They're not here."  At :16, a man whispers, "What?"
