Hubby said he didn't sleep well cause there was a "ghost" in the room. He wouldn't elaborate...
We do not approve of any spirit upstairs where we sleep so after he told me about one of them in our bedroom, I did a recording. I set it up between the family room and the kitchen (right near the basement). I was the only one home, and I left the recorder going while I did my housework. No TVs, computers or radios were on; nor, were there any doors or windows open. I only left it running for about 15 minutes and I caught a BUNCH of EVPs! Check out some of the better ones below...
In this clip, I have just come in from the garage and I explain a noise that might have been heard. I take off my coat and sniff. Right after I sniff :15, a man(?) whispers, "April's throat is sore." Remember, you need earphones and your volume up! Comments like this just add to our family's argument that the spirits are not all bad, just regular people. And, by golly, they were right! My throat was sore!

And on that note...Well, remember how I said they are just regular people? This next comment is vulgar, so I apologize, but I didn't say it! I am running water and putting dished in the sink. That is the noise that you hear and at about two seconds in a gruff voice loudly whispers, "He fucked her." There is another comment at the end, but I accidentally cut it too close. If this is your first time to our site, welcome! A little background - spirits here often do many of the same things we do. They make friends, they gossip, they fight, and they love. They also have some serious drama, just like we do!

During this recording, I am going about my normal day to day activities - dishes, laundry, general housekeeping. I skipped a number of good captures, because of the background noise. This one, though, is quite obviously NOT from the dryer. Right away, a voice whispers, "I believe in you" or "Unbelievable." Then at five seconds, the same voice aggressively whispers my name, "April!" There is more whispers followed by a clear but quiet, "What?" at :14.

So why don't I sit in the dark and have everything turned off like all the investigators do on television? Because this is not television, this is our life and I am trying to share what it is like to live everyday with spirits. They are with us when we are quiet, when we are on the phone, when we do chores, when we watch television - it is all the time. Our recording would be more clear, true, but our purpose is not to capture the perfect EVP or to communicate with them. We do not "conjure" them or "seek" them, we merely share what OUR life is like and how we try to help them the best we can!
Again, I caught TONS of EVPs in the short, 15 minute recording, but I filed most of them away. Not this one, though. The dryer is going, and you can kind of hear a muffled woman talking, but before I gave up, a man loudly whispered at four seconds, "Of course he will!" He then says something else that I can't figure out and the woman, softly but CLEARLY says, "I love you," at :08. Rewind if you missed it because it is there and soooo clear!

The last one I will share is the last seconds of the recording and frankly has me perplexed. Right away, the man that has been whispering, loudly whispers, "April, we can see you." Or is it can't? But then there is this weird, louder, echo voice that says what sounds like, "Nobody's alive." Huh? What do you think it says? Leave a comment and share your thoughts!
