A BOATLOAD of EVPS BELOW!!!!
FINALLY! We are back on-line! A big thank you to Chad at
Home Depot for getting us up and running. Due to the long absence, I am posting an EXTRA long one for all of you to read and listen to (well, and it's 100 degrees outside, so I think I'll work on this ALL day!), so plug in your head phones, turn up your volume and enjoy!
These EVPs are from May 4, 2012. As I have stated before, my daughter and I were leaving for the weekend, so as a "favor" to my husband, I did an EXTRA long EVP session to help them get rid of some energy. The EVP session was about 45 minutes, long, but we caught one of my new all time favorites! I ended up "clipping" over 100 different cuts containing numerous EVPs. also, to follow up from before, I looked into the accepted rating scale for EVPs and it as as follows:
Class A: Voices are clear, understood by all who listen, does not require headphones
Class B: Distinct voice or sound, may require headphones, not clearly understood by all
Class C: Voices are exceptionally faint, sometimes indecipherable, often stored for reference and not accepted, although most common

I recorded this session on Friday, May 4, 2012, while I was alone in the house. I placed the recorder in the kitchen (one of our "most active rooms" even though I spent most of my time in the living room and outside.
The only one that I determined to be of
Class A recording, meaning NO ear phones needed, clear wording... is this one...It is of a child's voice. I was actually outside at the time, talking on my cell phone out of ear shot from the recording. In this recording, the many "ghosts" are chatting as always, but it is a child who comes through loud and clear, stating, "My book!" followed by two "pouty" grunts. After, one of our "gruff" males quickly whispers, "Leave it..." and others comment as well. We went back over the pictures trying to determine if the child is talking about a book in his dimension or one in ours, but as you can see from the very real picture, the kitchen needed to be picked up, and and it is impossible to tell.
This one is SO awesome that I added it to our favorites on the right hand side. Also, my son and I have decided that we will leave some toys out that a younger child might enjoy - we had to go into storage, but we located a book, some of my Cabbage Patch figurines and some cars (as we can't determine the sex of the child). We will keep you posted on whether or not they are moved or played with!
Upon playing this for my family, it was my 9-year-old som who asked, "Isn't that the same kid that said, 'Toot toot?' " I searched for it and I think he is right! The child above sounds young, maybe four or five, and so does the "toot toot" child. Take a listen from 10-28-11 to see if you agree!
Now onto some of the Class B recordings. Head phones on!
This one doesn't make sense to me, or maybe I am misinterpreting it. I am taging the recording - giving time, date and background information. When I pause, a voice clearly whispers, "Praise hook" at :05.
This clip still has me talking, I am just informing the recording that I will be on the computer making a grocery shopping list and I walk out the door to get my newspaper. As the door closes, a man whispers, "April tough" at :05 followed by a woman who clearly whispers, "She's quiet" at :09. I almost wonder if the woman isn't being sarcastic...
I am still outside (I ended up getting a phone call, so I took it quietly outside, all the way by my car). I originally heard a woman whispering, "Okay, so what are you going to do about it?" at :02, but don't try to hear it. It is officially a Class C recording and is really tough to hear. The GREAT EVP is a man's response at :04, "Bupkis." There is one more soft female whisper of "April" at :11.
I am putting this one on here not because it is so loud and clear, in fact, it probably is considered a Class C EVP; however, the spirits always call out my name and FINALLY they say my husband's name! Up to this point (I am sharing them in chronological order), I have moved 3 rooms away into the living room and they have been all worked up over the fact that "Roger's coming." Roger is one I am not happy to hear about because they all seem to be afraid of him - especially the children. In November and December, the children were telling us that he is bad and even evil. Back to this EVP, so, they may not be talking about my husband, but maybe just another spirit coming to their "meeting" in the kitchen (I'll explain what I mean by that later). They do say, "Jonathan" at :14.
After the last clip, there was a lot of whispers that Jim is coming. While I am not a fan of Roger, I have always liked Jim. Jim is one of the very first spirits we heard and when I researched our house, I was able to find he had a serious love for this house. How can I tell that from records? He owned it in the late 1800s, then sold it, only to repurchase it and then purchase the lot behind it and combined it into the large lot it is today. When I asked if it was him - he answered with his full name. I also have felt him being very protective, even holding me up while I was painting (check the archives for the whole story). He has always said kind things about me and I have a soft spot for him. The spirits know this and they often tell me he is coming, although we haven't heard him in months. I think our prayers and blessings helped him to move on. This clip followed all of that chatter. You can hear my printer going and there is whispering going on. The Class B EVP is at the end - right when the printer finishes, a loud, gruff voice says, "Kill it" at :21.
Following the above EVP, numerous women start telling me Jim is NOT coming. This always makes me laugh. Not the women, but the fact that they DO lie. So, I think the voices saying Jim is coming were trying to get my attention and appease me, but were outright lying. You always have to take what they say with a grain of salt! Then, two spirits get into a lover's spat. A woman accuses a man of infidelity; it's pretty vulgar, so I am not going to share it. Then the same two talk about their relationship, and I WILL share that one - it's pretty cool! Right at the beginning if the clip, she loudly, breathy whispers, "Love you" followed by a MUCH louder, breathy, "I love you" at :04. Then she whispers (this one is probably a Class C, but it is an important part of the conversation), "Do you love me?" at :08. He responds, "I do right now" at :11. I laughed out loud! What a jerk! No wonder he's trapped here...anyways, she again asks if he loves her in a whisper at :16.
Immediately following that clip comes this one. Most of the voices are Class C - they are there but, really hard to hear. The woman does have a great retort to the guy's uncaring response - she tells him that he is stuck with her. Good for her! Then there is more whispers. At :17, you can hear a squeak, that is me getting up from the computer in the living room. Right after that is a Class B EVP, "April's coming" at :24.
The two finally end their spat and I go outside to take a phone call. One of them then says, "Ouch" and the next few minutes are them saying he should go to the doctor and he needs help. Then, they introduce another new name. earlier, they mentioned Jessica, a name we haven't heard mentioned before. Now, they begin talking about Jeremy and he then dominates the discussion topic for quite a while. We have NO idea who Jeremy is, but he seems to take on an important role to them this day. This is the first mention of him, "Jeremy needs" at :03 is pretty loud and clear by a male and a woman finishes the statement with "Help" at :07.
This next one is CHUCK-FULL of voices. Another new name is introduced. We are often asked how many spirits we have living here and honestly, we don't know. To wager a guess, my husband and I feel comfortable saying over twenty. At :01, "Billy needs you." Billy? Another new one. At :06, "I'll help him." At :11 the woman again says, "I love you." Those are all Class B EVPs. The response to the woman's statement is probably a C. At :12 a man says, "I know...stop it." There is a lot of whispering after that. remember, I am not even in the house - no one is but them. The woman whispers, "I love you" at :23 and :27. Poor gal, one-sided love sucks.
Here we go with more lies. At :04, "Jim is here." Then a female spirit corrects him with ANOTHER new name, "That's Michael." At :16 & :18 a male says my name, "April." At :23, another one is quick to reinforce the truth, "Jim isn't here." And, yes, there are many other whispers, but I just pointed out the obvious ones for you!
After the above clip, there is about three minutes of whispers for help and asking if I can hear them. I would share them, but they are really quiet and a Class C. This one does capture a quiet plea for help at :03 followed by a louder, male voice saying, "It's not his" at :06.
This next one is a pretty long one. I hear a bunch of things (when you download it, you will see my notes), but the only clear one you will be able to hear clearly is at :14. It's a new voice, I believe her to be a teenager or in her early twenties and she says something TOTALLY different then what we have been capturing for a year, "I don't want help." Well, okay then!
This next one I wasn't sure if I should share, but it's hot and I am hiding form the heat so why not! At :01 there is a quiet whisper, "April, what's your name?" If he just used my name, why is he asking. Who knows? Then I ask if our prayers are helping you and I walk outside. There is a quiet "Yes" at :07 but then when the door closes a totally different answer is given. I find it very clearly stating, "They're not helping that much." The reason I wasn't sure if I should post it as it goes with the door closing. But I played it over and over, even going back to other times I closed the door, and it was the only time I heard this with the door closing. PLUS, it answers the question and finally, you can hear a voice - not just mechanics. Well, just have a listen and decide for yourself! As for me, I'm keeping it!
Okay, so right after this begins what we have come to think of as "the meeting." Once in a while, we capture them telling some spirits to come in and others to leave. We think our house is like a gathering place for them. Here, a male spirit is exercising his control over who goes... Remember, NO ONE is in the house right now, the ice machine does drop a cube in this clip, but everything else is them. At :05 a man says, "Get out." The other ones quickly says, "Sorry" at :06. The man then adds, "Bring Gus, too" at :09. Yet, another name we are not familiar with. Then the one being bossed around says, "revoke" at :11.
SO, I just filed away about 10 cuts from the next few. They were all chatting it up, but in whispers. I originally cut this one for a voice I heard at :08 which I now think is too quiet to share. But I TOTALLY missed the loud and clear voice at :01, a woman says, "Watch it."
This next clip has the child from the top. Remember? The "My Book, MM MM" kid? Well, I am still outside on the phone and the child does the same pout at :02 and then sounds as if he (or she) hits something. I am VERY familiar with the ice machine sound, and maybe you are too by now. The bang is NOT the ice machine.
After this, I come inside and am on the phone. I caught some really great EVPs, but I filed them away because I didn't want people to say that my EVPs are not legitimate and that it is just interference from the phone call. This one, though, is so hilarious that I HAVE to share it! This is NOT my husband (who I am on the phone with in the living room) as he has NEVER called me this name, at least not to my face. Listen at :11 for our resident creepy guy to say, "Get April, she's a bitch." Hilarious!
Well, I did end up wrapping up all of my phone calls and on the recording am back on the computer working on my shopping list. This clip contains a very clear voice saying, "Sounds like him" at :03 followed by a response of "Get over it" at :05.
This next clip sounds like a child, although not as young as the one above. At :02, a clear, yet distant, voice asks, "Do you love me?"
Again, very clear voices. They must have had a lot of energy this day! At :01, a clear, distant voice says, "You can talk to me" followed by a warning, "Don't" at :03. At :06, a man whispers, "April" and at :08 a female whispers, "Who's April?" How does she not know who April is? She's in MY house. Oh, well.
And I will finally end this post with a glimpse into what it's like to live here. It's not a great clip, but it is a pretty telling one. At :01, a muffled voice slowly says, "I'm.in.here." This is followed by a muffled bang or knock at :03. Then one of them whispers something and I comment from the living room that I just heard a bang come from the bathroom. This is followed by whispers. Bangs, knocks, whispers - we are so used to it that it has become a norm; HOWEVER, we have learned the difference between house knocks and paranormal knocks. This clip proves it - someone was in the bathroom and someone else either didn't like that or wanted in. Oh well...such is our life!
Phew! Hope you enjoyed this HUGE, making up for lost time posting! I think I will continue to hide from the heat and begin clipping EVPs for the next post! Talk to you soon - stay cool!
