Follow our family's story from the purchase of our dream home in April of 2011... Our story begins with odd occurances and moves towards realization that we are not alone in our home. Our journey progresses daily towards acceptance and a desire for understanding...
Welcome to our family's paranormal journey. In order to hear the EVPs yourselves, ear buds or ear phones are recommended and turn up your volume. If you don't have ear phones or ear buds, we have posted the loudest and clearest EVPs on the right-hand side.

June 22, 2012

 EVPs  BELOW!!!!
My last posting was from June 10, 2012.  Well, in case you haven't figured it out, I actually posted it last week, but due to summer vacation and my children taking over the computer, I got a little behind.  But NO WORRIES - I continued to record when necessary and ALWAYS took notes.  Here's what happened in our home from the 11th through the 22nd of June...

6/11/12 My nine year old son said that he heard his big sister's voice when he was in the bathroom, but she wasn't home.  I brushed it off as not to scare him, but I checked and all the windows were shut and you could not hear the one TV that was on from the bathroom.
6/16/12 My husband heard a young girl talking when he was upstairs alone.  He told her to "Knock it off" and she did.  Later that day, when I was in the laundry room, I heard numerous voices calling for me.  I typically don't write down when they call my name, as it is a daily occurrence, but this was different due to the number of voices calling my name.  I acknowledged them by saying, "Yes, I hear you," and they stopped shortly thereafter.
6/17/12 I was pouring myself a soda in the kitchen when I heard my husband's cell phone ringing.  I looked to see who it was and it said it was ME calling him!  I looked and my cell was sitting on the counter and did showed that I was calling him.  I tried to end the call, but it wouldn't end.  I called for my husband to come into the kitchen and as I was telling him what happened, his phone began ringing again.  Again it showed I was calling him, but this time my phone did not show that I was making a call.  Out of curiosity he answered it, but no one was there.  I called Verizon the very next day and they had me run tests on both phones.  The technician then told me that they were both working properly and there was absolutely NO WAY this could have happened.  Ah, but it did...
6/21/12 We had some Mylar balloons in the living room leftover from father's day.  They were weighted down and had remained behind the couch since the 17th.  My children and I walked into the living room and they were across the room in front of the television.  We immediately noticed and none of us had moved them.  We called my husband in and he hadn't moved them either.  We don't have any windows that open in that room, but we did have a ceiling fan on low.  After I brushed off the event to the children, I tried to get them to move.  I blew on them, I fanned them, I turned the ceiling fan on high - all they did was sway due to the weights tied to the bottom.  I gave up, grabbed my notebook and sat in the family room to document the event.  After documenting the event, I decided to rest on the couch.  As soon as I closed my eyes, I heard the balloons being punched.  You know, that krinkle-poof sound?  I looked and they were being punched or hit down towards the ground, not swaying like they sometimes do.  I looked and the door was shut and the fan was off after my experiments.  They were hit over seven times while I watched.  Then, it just stopped.  They just floated back up and swayed gently.  Later that night, my husband went up to bed and heard a woman talking in the empty family room below our bedroom.  He checked and there were no TVs on, all children were sleeping.
6/22/12 I decided to do TWO EVP sessions to allow them to get out their energy.  It was quite obvious they wanted attention so I gave it to them through the use of the recorder.  Once the children were at friends' homes, I made sure there were no TVs or radios on.  I did, however, make one mistake.  The weather was nice, but I had fans on so you will hear the annoying hum from them.  I have made this mistake in the past, and I apologize.  Maybe I will finally remember (I seriously doubt it).  The first session was about 20 minutes and I had it recording in the kitchen (pictured above).  You can see the recorder on the counter.  Here are a few of the 40+ clips I ended up with...

In this clip, at :10, a woman slowly says, "...loves children."
Loves Children

I am asking if they are in the kitchen and I get a husky male response at :03.
In the Bathroom

After the kitchen, I moved the recorder into the family room.  It is actually pictured above on the end of the black couch.  I then work on the computer in the room where I took this picture from.

This one features a young girl saying, "Ethan" at :07.  We do not have an Ethan, nor do we know one.  THe footsteps that follow are me walking through to get a soda.
Ethan

This next one contains a whole mess of voices.  They are at all different volumes and wavelengths.  The most prominent ones are at :06 a man whispering, "Get help now."  At :09, a simple, "April." this is abruptly followed by a man saying, "Join in ___."  After that, again, just layers of voices.
Layers of Voices

The next clip has my ice maker making some noise in the background.  There is also a lot of "April"s throughout the clip.  The voice that is a Class A recording is the female at :08 that clearly says, "Let's go there..." This is followed closely by a man saying, "Thank you, thank you" then a bunch of Aprils.
Let's Go There

Couldn't hear the Aprils above?  Here's a nice clear one for you at :03.  The rest is me moving around and "tagging" the recording, which is simply explaining the noise that I am contributing.  And, yes, for you with the trained ears, there is another April in the clip.
April

Your turn!  This next clip has the loud, breathy voices conversing back and forth.  YOU tell ME what they are saying in the comments!

Okay, I think this is that same "mother" spirit from the "Do not throw that" clip.  There are voices and sentences throughout, but too quiet for me to point out.  The loud and clear one is that "mother" tone.  At :10 something falls (or is thrown?) and she says, "Buck, stop."  I didn't hear the object because when I work on the computer, I wear headphones.
Buck, Stop

In this next one, a softer, yet still parent-like voice says, "Get over here" at :03.  Following that one, there are layers of voices and sentences.
Get Over Here

Easy EVP to hear - a woman whispers loudly into the recorder at :03.
Hello

These next ones are pretty straight forward, so take a listen...

Here's a new twist.  At :01, it sounds like "Aubrey."  At :05 a man says thank you.  Here's the twist.  At :15 a man speaks French "Vive la difference."  Followed by another French statement at :18 beginning with "Cinq..."  I took French 20 years ago, so I probably didn't spell it correctly and the only thing I think I understand is Cinq meaning five.  Okay, and the first statement is something like see the difference or celebrate the difference.  All I can say is WTF.
Vive la Difference!
