EVPs BELOW!!!
July 5, 2012 Daughter's boyfriend came in the house and asked if we had been lighting sparklers in the house. We said - no, not even outside. He said the kitchen smelled of sulfur - but only the kitchen. All the doors & windows were shut for days due to the heat.
After they went out for the evening, I lay sleeping on the couch in the family room, while my son was on the computer in the living room with headphones on. My husband closed the doors between the two rooms and went into the kitchen. When went into the living room to check on our son, everyone was still in the same positions, but the doors were standing wide open.
July 6, 2012 I sent my husband a text at 6:07 am. When he finally checked it around 7 am, a response of, "I'm sorry, I'm a little busy" had already been typed but not sent! He searched through all of my texts, but not one of them would have caused him to type that for a response. He NEVER typed it.
Later that night, everyone left for the evening - I had the house to myself. It wasn't peaceful, though. I kept hearing knocks, bangs and voices. Our dog hid, shaking under my legs for most of the evening. At one point that night, I went outside and was looking in as I saw the kitchen light turn on by itself. I went in calling for my husband and son, but they were still not home and NONE of our lights are on timers.
July 7, 2012 Our son came into the kitchen and asked why the house smelled "smokey." Again, there was no reason.
July 9 & 10, 2012 This whole month, the kids and I have been sleeping downstairs where it is cool. My husband, a heat lover, sleeps upstairs alone. Both of these nights, he was kept awake and awakened by voices in and near the bedroom.
July 12, 2012 My phone had been sitting on the coffee table all afternoon. When I went to use it, it was gone!
July 14, 2012 Still no phone so I did two short EVP sessions asking if any of them knew where it was. Each session was short, less than 2 minutes each, but of course I caught voices. The closest thing I got to help, though was a comment of "It's right near you."
This clip contains the girl's voice. You can hear me talking and then I walk into the kitchen. At :05, a girl whispers into the microphone, "You're not talking to me, " followed by a "What?" There aren't any TVs on, and I am the only one awake.
You're Not Talking to Me
This next one contains voices, the loudest is a male that seems to say "Power," and well, and me pleading to get my phone back.
Voices
I found one more to share with you as I was reconnecting links. This one, I walk around (more like shuffle) and close a door then say morning to my daughter. The interesting thing is the creepy male voice talking throughout. His voice is low and raspy. At :01, he begins, with "April's not..." and at :05, "...not happy."
April's Not...Not Happy
Later that day, we saw my husband's quiet phone suddenly turn on and it chose the alarm and scrolled through them, setting new ones, erasing old ones.
July 16, 2012 It was warm during the night, REALLY warm. My husband and I have a deal...My illness causes me to over heat quickly and get physically ill; because of this, it has been agreed that I am the only one to adjust the thermostat during the summer. Back to this night, I woke up, sweating and sick to my stomach. The air was on when I went to bed - so I couldn't understand what was going on. I stumbled to the thermostat and the heat was on and it was set at 84!!! I was LIVID! After checking with everyone in the family, all denied touching it, I chose to NOT believe my husband. We had a HUGE, multi-day fight over it, but he still swears he NEVER touched the thermostat. After a few days, I chose to believe him. There is no reason why he would turn on the heat and crank it up to 84.
July 18, 2012 My husband and I watched as they once again, scrolled through his phone and turned all of the alarms off.
July 20, 2012 I went down into the basement and while I was down there, the lights slowly dimmed to off, and then slowly came back on. I hurried up the stairs and watched it happen two more times. It could have been a brown out, but it didn't happen in any other place (the kids swear everything upstairs was fine). It could have been the bulb, but it hasn't happened again to this day.
July 26, 2012 We had a lovely day celebrating my son's birthday. My sister had her children over and my son had friends over. My parents also were there, and we were having a lovely time. Until, that is, when my sister scooped up her kids and said, "We're leaving." Just like that, she hurried out the door, leaving toys and other possessions. I followed her out to the car and said, "What happened?" She said, "Fine. I'll tell you. We were sitting in the family room when the basement door started shaking." I said, "It's probably the bat I had seen last night." She said, "No, a person was trying to get OUT." With that, she drove away. That night, my daughter, her boyfriend and I went down to look for bats and of course, I brought my recorder. I only recorded for less than five minutes, but of course we caught EVPs.
This one contains my daughter's boyfriend talking about the bats. He is the only male down there with us. At :04 a different male whispers into the recording, "How should we know?"
How Should We Know
The next link contains a part of a discussion between the boyfriend and I over how to catch the bats. While the only male is talking, a different male can be heard chuckling at the suggestion.
Male Chuckle
The next clip again has us looking for bats. All three of us are very loud - no one is whispering. Noone, except for the woman or child that whispers, "Tina" at :07 and then whispers again later. I wasn't going to put this one on the blog due to all of us being so loud, but she speaks RIGHT into the recorder and obviously wants to be heard.
Tina
This last clip contains some loud, alive human voices, so be prepared. The boyfriend finally gives up the bat chase, and right after he yells, a child-like female voice says into the microphone, "Don't...do it" or "Noone's...stupid," at :11 I'm not sure what it says, but I KNOW it is a child responding to the loud boyfriend. Then at 15 a man whispers my name and just as I am turning off the recorder, he says "April" VERY LOUDLY.
Child & Man
July 30, 2012 My husband heard a door slam shut upstairs. When he went up to bed, all of the doors were open.
