GUESS WHAT?????? We are back! Phew! What a year....
Sorry that I haven't posted since May of last year (as my dad reminds me FREQUENTLY). I received a stressful, time-consuming promotion, my daughter graduated high school & basically all electronics petered out. Our main family computer blue screened and after weeks of trying to repair it, we had to give up and save up for a new one. Once we purchased a new one, my recorder disappeared. Weeks of looking finally led to the purchase of a new one. When I recorded, I HATED IT! There was too much scratchy noise. A few more weeks and the recorder magically appeared. So, I got that straight and did a recording in November after months and months of letting their energy build. When I went to cut the recording (only cut, I do NOT alter it in any other way), my headphones went out. Waited for Christmas, after Santa brought mamma some brand new headphones, I tried to edit again. Now, me editing software is no longer free and they want $80! No thank you! We already pay for storage on a cloud so that you all can hear the voices and had to purchase a new computer, recorder & headphones, I was NOT going to spend another dime on it! After a week of searching, I found free editing software that works for my purpose. Whew! I think we are finally back on track (knock on wood).
So what has been going on? A LOT! I have been trying to post activity on Twitter. I am pretty good at it, but honestly, the activity has become so "ordinary" to us, that I often don't post about voices and dishes moving. Here are the Twitter updates since May of last year:
A wine bottle just slid across the floor in a room no one had been in all day. Didn't roll or fall - SLID!
Hubby just told me that he too had an experience in that same room. He turned the light off, then went about other things. Later it was ON!
Yesterday morning,my alarm went off and I could fell hubby laying next 2 me so I quietly crept out & shut the door only 2 find him downstairs.
The bed was empty...or was it?
THIS morning, hubby came out of shower only to ask if our son was up.I laughed - it was 5:30am! He clearly heard a child call out, "hi, mom."
This morning, while watching TV I saw a dark shadow move across the family room ceiling. I then felt a cold breeze and had goosebumps...
Last nite, I was only one up watching TV when I clearly heard a child call my name from within the room. A man then said look over there!
The man spoke into my right ear...loudly! It felt as though he was sitting next to me on the couch. They want our attention, that's 4 sure
Last nite,I couldn't sleep so I watched TV til 1 am.3 seperate times I heard someone walking around upstairs,but all of my peeps were asleep
While painting a small bedroom, I felt someone tap my left shoulder.I blew it off,thinking it was a muscle tick UNTIL I felt the taps again
Watching TV just now, I can hear clinking from the far corner of the room.Rest of family a few rooms away,no other explanation...
During a meeting at work just now, a woman w a scratchy voice called my name 2x.I looked all around,now everyone thinks I'm crazy! great.
While talking to my sister on the phone, I heard a man call her name. She then asked me if I had a tv on (no) as SHE was hearing voices,too.
Just came in from work and my husband saw my hat fly from the coat hook and land two feet away, right by where I was standing.
I just heard something fall downstairs followed by someone running across the floor. We are all up in bed...
My son & I just heard a clapping sound on the kitchen. Couldn't find an explanation. What is going on? Crazy activity!
So,we have all been crazy busy & rarely home Last night I heard something rolling around upstairs.no one was awake not the dog.
This morning i found the front door WIDE OPEN!No one did this! I locked everything up & went to work;came home 2 find another door wide open!
So there's more. At work, a man LoUdLY whispered my name in my ear. I turned to find no one there.then my son texted & asked why I sent him
Cont. The following text, "I'm at the cinema." I did NO SUCH THING! later, at home I laid on the couch & felt someone stroking my ponytail!
Hubby's a little freaked out. He was home alone just now and from right behind him he heard a loud, clear, "HI!" from a child...
Talking to hubby on the phone just now...he's out of town but b4 we hung up he said,"oh & btw, I could hear 'them' talking the whole time."
Soooo many loud voices in kitchen, I thought my daughter& boyfriend were here. Went outside - no one. Btw all windows r shut cause air is on
Last nite, my ten year old heard bootsteps coming from an "empty" upstairs...

Kept up most of the night by footsteps, feeling of someone standing near me, cold spots...crazy.
Haven't posted as we really haven't been home for long periods. When we are, we hear voices but not much else. Til today...
Home alone,dog next to me. Could hear someone walking around upstairs. Checked but no explanation. Happened a few more times...
Then today, my daughter stopped over and asked who opened the basement door. That door has been SEALED for a year and a half due to bats!
Last nite, hubby saw and heard indoor decorative chimes move aggressively without reason!
Today, I could hear someone walking around upstairs.Then I heard laundry starting & stopping! Later, I heard a young child in the kitchen...
Outside just now, saw someone jumping in or in front of neighbor's garage. Clearly saw a man, but moved back & forth to get a better look...
Then, HE WAVED AT ME! Hubby sitting right next to me said there was no one in or around the garage! It was definitely a person, one of ours?
Coming out of bathroom, cleqrly heard a BIG dog growl and give one loud bark from inside the kitchen. All doors/windows shut, our dog hiding
Today my daughter & bf were over. While we were ALL downstairs, we could hear someone in boots walking upstairs. All 3 of us heard it!
Oh and I forgot to post that a few nights ago, I was turning down my bed when I felt a small hand grab my calf, actually pulling the fabric.
I slept on the couch Sat.& my son came down @ 7 am looking for his dad.I asked if he looked in his bed; he said, no, he heard him come down.
Needless to say, dad and dog were still sleeping upstairs. It wasn't dad he heard. Brave buddy said, I guess we need to pray tonight! U bet!
Then there's my cross necklace. New, not cheap. Fell off me while sitting on couch; broken not at clasp. Replaced 2x, all broke. :(
Computer just turned on by itself...I am the only one up and kit is two rooms away...
Last night, after everyone was asleep I heard a door slam downstairs. I got up to check, all doors were locked, none in sight...
Today, hubby was trying to nap and heard heard a door open aggressively! No reason to be found...
Hubby had an active day. Dish fell off shelf & broke into a dish too far from wall to be nature. Also said apples rolled off table onto floor
He also said dishes moved inside the cupboards, apples rolled off table & onto floor. Dog hid and shook during these incidents..
Just now...only one awake on main floor. Heard the tv turn on loud! As I went out to investigate, it turned itself off...no one around.
Cans just fell over & crashed onto the floor 2 empty rooms away! And just now, I can hear someone walking around upstairs! Not any of us!
Son just heard someone tapping on a window 9 ft above ground.
Hubby reported hearing a child laugh in the garage with him a few days ago & someone hit his foot off the couch last night. ..
As I mentioned in the update, I did a recording in November. November 26th, to be exact. It was a short one - only about 17 minutes, and as always, no TVs, computers or radios were on. I left after saying the prayers and starting the recording in the family room, leaving just the dog in the house. Here are some of the best EVPs caught from that recording:
In this clip, you might hear a quiet clicking sound. That would be our dog. He bites his nails and is obviously many rooms away. The house, other than Prancer, is empty. Three seconds into this recording, a man clearly asks, "How's this?" and a male voice responds with something that sounds like, "Better than I thought." Around ten seconds in, you can hear a glass move. No one is in that room (the dog is still biting his nails rooms away!). There are additional whispers after this, but not any that are considered to be a "Class A EVP."
In this next clip there are whispers, but I am not posting it for the whispers. You can still hear the dog biting his nails; in fact, he's moved closer to the recording BUT he does NOT make the THUD at eleven seconds in. Footstep? No one is home. No one is outside (or the dog would have went nuts).
This clip is the best of the day (in my opinion). Dog biting nails, whispers, just like the others. One of the whispers sounds a little louder and says, "Set me free." Then in a loud whisper right up to the recorder the voice says, "Pray for us" at 13 seconds in. Don't worry, we do pray for them - almost every night! My son is even converting to Catholicism so that he will be better able to help them!
Well, this one is pretty awesome as well...It begins with a woman whispering something like, "Again..." and at six seconds in a man loudly whispers, "I love you."

This one is actually from the very beginning. I had not left the house yet, but y prayers had been said and my speaking had ceased. This would be considered a Class A EVP if it wasn't for the heater that was blowing at this time. Because of that, I am only pretty certain that the woman's voice four seconds in says, "As you please..." or is it "Educated?" Darn heater!
The last one is tough to hear again thanks to the heater. There are whispers, a man says, "How? and the voice I like the best is the small child's voice at sixteen seconds that whispers, "Daddy."
Well, that should keep you all busy for a while! I have already made and CUT a recording for the next post, so electronics willing, I should be able to post again soon!
