Well, this is it. I am making the final push and I am finished with November 27th's EVPs and hopefully can move on to shorter, louder recordings. If you haven't been following the blog this whole, you may not be aware that most of our EVPs are quite loud; these, however, are MUCH quieter due to the fact (I believe) that no one is awake to give energy to the voices. These are much quieter, but there is SO much more discussions. Actual conversations. But, I think we all want to move on from this date and see what else happens in our family home. So, here are a few remaining EVPs from the 27th...
This one you can hear a loud "April" and a few seconds later a softer "april" followed by what sounds like, "Jesus can." The bangs and pops I cannot rule out as house sounds, so ignore them.
April. April. Jesus Can.
The next one is pretty clear. This time in the night, I get up to use the rest room. Those are the movement sounds that you hear. Then, at :10 you hear what sounds like a child loudly whisper, "April, It's you." What a nice reception just for going to the restroom!
April. It's You.
This one I had cut earlier - it is actually from the beginning of the recording when my husband is awake. He does not speak, but you can hear his movement. Listen for the deep, male echoey voice that says what sounds to be, "Shower" or "Hour."
Shower
This one contains a sound then an EVP. About halfway through, you will hear the bang then a soft whisper, "Do you hear me?"
Bang. Do you hear me?
Those of you who have troubles hearing the whispers should like the next one. Listen for the small, speaking voice in the middle say quickly, "Yes."
Yes
This one contains a female who softly says, "Oh, she's quiet," at :03 followed by a response of, "He's here," at :11.
She's Quiet. He's Here.
This one contains three separate sounds. At :01, you should be able to hear, "Push." At :05 you will hear a woman screaming. And at :09 a child hums. I have TOLD you guys this house is FULL and ACTIVE!
Push. Scream. Hum.
Some don't make a whole lot of sense. I think it is because we are catching only part of a conversation that we are not involved in, but this one should be fairly easy to hear with ear buds. It begins with, "Hatches." After a 5+ second pause, someone then says, "Susie."
Hatches. Susie.
The next one is turned up pretty loud on the editing software, ao be prepared for the hum of the heater. There are whispers in the beginning that keep saying, "Jesus can alright." If you can't hear those, don't worry, you should be able to hear the "Jesus is good" at :19. After that, it goes back to whispers and then just house noises.
Jesus is Good
Still on the same topic, this one has one whispering, "Jesus, can you, can you help me?" This repeats until the two knocks and then it stops.
Jesus, Can You Help Me?
The next one has a ghost whisper (EVP) right after the knock.
They Can't Hear You
This next one has some lead. Sure, it has some whispers, but I can't make them out. Wait about 7-8 seconds and then you will hear a clear man say, "Got the voice." At :10 & :13 a woman whispers, "Jesus." Then at :14 there is a quick, "Thank you," followed by a slower one at :17.
Got the Voice
So things took a dark turn later that night...Talk began to turn of a "mean" and "dangerous" man coming. There was a lot of chatter about this, including this next clip which contains, "April, he's coming" over and over and over - growing with intensity until at :21 someone whispers, "There he is."
April, He's Coming
A child talks in this one. He/she says, "Someone's coming" at :05 and "Mommy told me to do that" at :09. After this, you may hear adults say April, Ralph, Wasn't him or Ralph's Coming (I'm guessing Ralph is the mean one).
Mommy Told Me to Do That
The child says, "Mean guy's right there" at :03 and then, "He's so mean" at :09. If you can't hear the words, listen for the child-like voice and cadence.
Mean Guy
Again, with the child voice. At :02 you should be able to hear him/her speak again. It sounds like, "What is he doing to my dad?" Then a clear, "Horse" at :05 followed by knocking or galloping? at :11.
Child Again
The next one is after I get up at 2:45 am. It is a quick clip, "She's gonna hurt you."
She's Gonna Hurt You
Whew! It is done. Mark my words - NEVER tape for 5-6 hour stretches in an active home! They are a BEAR to listen to! Well, I am taking the rest of the night off and letting my kids have the computer back (they have been waiting these six days). I will be posting and updating from NEW dates in December already taped - so check back tomorrow or Wednesday (or both ;) )
