EVP's BELOW!!!
Well, once we became aware of the possibility of paranormal activity, it seemed to intensify. I had always been a fan of scary movies and ghost hunting shows. I had NEVER actually had any TRUE experiences. I tried to be scientific and skeptical. My husband, on the other hand, was NEVER a fan of anything paranormal and found this paranormal realization terrifying. He left it up to me to "deal" with them. I spent the month being observant and working with my sister who was an avid ghost researcher. She lives in Montana, though, so I felt it was really up to me to determine if this was a danger to my family and to deal with it (not to mention calming my husband down). I kept my son in the dark on all of it and my teenage daughters on a need-to-know basis. Towards the end of the month, my sister came out to help me when I felt I couldn't do it all on my own. She was determined to help us get to the bottom of this, but ended up being surprised herself by the amount of activity.
6/1/11 My husband awake in the night when he felt someone move his hands from his chest to his sides. Not just once - twice. He hasn't slept well since...
6/6/11 Upon entering the kitchen, all of the cabinet doors were open again. My husband had to straighten our Last Supper picture four times. He has never had to do that before. During the night, we both awoke to the sound of marbles rolling across our floor (there were none).
6/8/11 My husband said that the cross outside had been knocked over about 14 times since we moved in. He straightened it again today.
6/9/11 One cabinet door by my knee opened 7X in a row - growing more intense each time. The seventh one hurt so I yelled, "Knock it off!" and it did. Door stayed shut the rest of the day.
6/13/11 I was awakened in the night to footsteps coming up the stairs. Prancer, our dog, was sleeping by me and began growling protectively. We waited...no one came up. I checked the downstairs - no one was there. This happened multiple times throughout the night; needless to say Prancer and I did not get much sleep.
6/15/11 My husband was standing in the kitchen watching the mini TV and eating a snack when he noticed the DRY sink drain plug move about three inches. The counter was also dry.
6/21/11 My daughter and I were watching TV in the family room during the afternoon. The garage door slammed and footsteps came into the kitchen. She grabbed me and asked what that is (she could see into the kitchen and there was no one there). I explained this has happened before and to ignore it. It happened two more times that afternoon.
6/22/11 I get up at 2:25 am during the week. At 3 am, I came out of the bathroom and saw a SOLID woman's face in the kitchen windows. She was young, blond and looking through the far left pane of the second rom from the bottom. I NEVER saw her body (she would have to have been pretty short to look in that window). I walked back and forth but could not reproduce ANY reflection (the hallway is too far from the bathroom).
6/24/11 My sister had decided to come out and help us. In preparation, I was searching for tools I had seen and read about to assist in investigating and cleansing. My sister already have a digital voice recorder, so I focused on finding and EMF detector (preferably one with a temperature gauge. I went to seven stores in Appleton and the surrounding area. They are impossible to find! A few stores could have ordered me one and in 1-2 weeks I would have had one and a hefty delivery fee attached to the $170 price tag. Oh, and if you ever go looking, you are better off on-line. Every single store clerk wanted to know why I wanted one and pushed me towards a multi-meter until I finally fessed up and got the crazy looks. I was suprised, however, at how easy it was to find a "smudge stick." It is basically dried sage that you burn in cleanse every last corner of the house with. It was the last one - she said she couldn't keep them in stock - great business idea! I stopped at the biggest religious store and purchased four St. Michael medals to protect the home. On my way home, I dropped them off at our church to be blessed by our priest.
My sister arrived late that night. At 11:30 pm, she was lying on my stepdaughter's bed, looking into the kitchen and saw a shadow walk past the window. She tried to recreate it, but could not. We took a plethora of pictures - but didn't see anything out of the normal. My husband could see a face in one of them, but it was probably visual matrixing, so we didn't count it. She also set up her digital voice recorder in my stepdaughter's bedroom, then slept in there with me to see if we would catch anything. She woke me up around 3:00 in the morning and told me she just heard a door slam. I told her that happens all the time. She caught the sound on her DVR, as well as a strange zipper sound in the room during the night. We tried to figure out that sound the next day, but could not. The two DVRs are linked below.

6/25/11 My sister caught an EVP when she left the DVR in the laundry room. The first one was loud, a man who says "For" (which I prefer) or "Whore" followed by two knocks. The next one is the same man calling out for "Audrey." The SUPER creepy thing is, my SON named his blanket, "Audrey" when he was two and he still sleeps with "her" every night. We had never met nor heard of an Audrey and found it funny. Was my son foretelling of events to come? Is Audrey this man's love or daughter? Or is this man trying to make a connection with us?
P.S.Only my sister, my daughter and myself were home. No man was in the house. Linked below.

6/27/11 My sister woke up in the morning and heard footsteps come down the stairs. Thinking it was one of the children, she went to greet them to find no one there. When she returned to the kitchen she saw a bowl in the kitchen move.
6/28/11 My husband saw an older girl/woman come out of the bathroom and walk towards the kitchen.
