EVPs BELOW!!

This day started out active.  My daughter told me that right away at 6:45 am, our dog sat facing the garage door barking for about three minutes and wouldn't stop.  It was a bright day out (finally), but I kept catching a shadow of a tall, thin man in our bathroom.  I recorded the first hour in the usual spot - on the table in the family room.  During this EVP session, I pointed out that the kitchen lights that had been turned off, we once again turned on.  A half hour later in the same session, the lights were on again.  Here are a few captures...

I am giving instructions and at :02, you can CLEARLY hear a baby cry.  I don't have a baby and NONE of my neighbors do.  There CERTAINLY wasn't one in my family room at the time.  I believe this one to be residual - an imprint in time that is repeated.  I know in my heart that God welcomes all children into heaven so the child we hear is merely a hiccup in time...

The next EVP contains a soft whisper at :03 (but don't fret if you don't hear it) and a CLEAR MAN speaking at :09, "Can't stop."

The next capture is quite large - so if your computer is slow, just skip it.  It contains whispers, noises and exhales - while no one is in the house (you hear me enter at the very end).  The snapping sound should be discounted in this one - since I am not there, I cannot say for certain it is not my dog.

The next clip contains one EVP and one disembodied voice (a voice we can hear without a recording device).  At :03, there is a soft female voice that whispers, "April." Then at :13 when I am typing, you can hear, "Oh No."  I then state that I heard a voice.  Which one was it?  I don't know for sure...

The last one features my dog and a female.  You can hear my dog going nuts (I am not in the room) by himself and a woman talk to him, two snaps, and what sounds like, "Stop it." Followed by a brief clue as to where I am...

A short while later, I decided to record again because of the feeling in the house and the fear my dog was showing.  He hid behind me shaking while I was working on the computer.  I actually recorded this one on the stairs.  I have never recorded there, as I constantly tell them NOT to go up.  I still told them NOT to go up, but I put it on the second step, and it is still mere feet from the computer where I am working during this recording.  During the EVP session, I pointed out that a picture I had just replaced had been knocked over.


The first one is a little chilling to me.  It is soft, so MOM put your ear buds in!!  At :02, someone asks, "What's her name?" and there is a definitive response, "April."  My husband even hears two separate spirits say it.  Then, at around :08 you hear "Who owns it?" and the response is there, however masked by my computer actions.  I find it chilling because the spirits that normally communicate know my name and I don't want any more spirits (I would prefer LESS, actually)

The next one is VERY clear.  A man says my name, "April" at :03.  Beware when you play it - there is a loud noise at the beginning that is not paranormal.  (And to my brother-in-law, you WILL be able to hear this April)

The creepy feeling continued that afternoon and evening.  I heard someone go up the stairs at 4:30 pm, when I was alone.  Our dog also went crazy barking at the front door that evening, when no one was there.  That night, I stayed up late watching football but I couldn't relax because it seemed as though there were always shadows out of the corners of my eyes.  Now, don't get me wrong.  I think you know me from the blog and I don't get creeped out easily - heck, I sit and record and listen to EVPs by myself.  This night was really DIFFERENT.  I think from the EVPs, you can hear that as well.

Side note: Upon reviewing the above EVPs, I began to get worried about new spirits coming into our home.  Then I realized I had forgotten THE MOST IMPORTANT STEP - ALWAYS PRAY BEFORE AND AFTER A SESSION!  When we captured evidence in June and July, I insisted my sister take part in a protection prayer each time.  A few months passed and I don't know if I just got so used to OUR spirits that I became lax or what - two months without prayers of protection!  I pray every night for the health and happiness of my family, I can only trust in God to have protected us.  To rectify my HUGE error, today (November 15, 2011) I did the pre-prayer and post-prayer and well as prayed with each family member as they donned the protective St. Micheal medal.  All EVPs captured the 15th or after will be done correctly!!  Now, if I could just get my hubby to be a little less pissed about it....
