EVP's BELOW!!!
I should have known it was going to be an active day when I first woke up. My son and I were sleeping on the sectional in the family room (family movie night ran a little long). I woke up to my daughter yelling, "Mom!" I sat up and said, "What?" Only, she wasn't there. I KNOW it was her, but I went upstairs and checked, she was sleeping in her room with the door closed. Later that afternoon, my husband and I were talking in the kitchen when we both stopped and asked, "Did you see that?" We had seen a dark shadow move towards the laundry room. We immediately started the DVR in the kitchen in hopes of capturing an EVP. Within 2 seconds, the man begins by softly saying my name.
April
We, of course, didn't hear it, so we continue talking about the shadow we saw. Then, our good friend and neighbor stops by. While we are greeting each other, you can hear whispers during. The REALLY creepy part comes next. Creeped me out so much I call my husband home to hear it. On the recording, my neighbor clearly says to the ghosts, "How come you never act up for me?" This is followed by three unaccounted for bangs and then the woman ghost says, "F--- you..." followed by three more syllables which I can't make out as my neighbor and I begin talking again. This is one of those EVP's you need to listen to like 4 or 5 times to really get a feel for the situation and what is really being said. No, I did NOT swear at my friend - heck, this time she doesn't sound like me. Give it a listen (or five)...
How come you never act up for me?
For those that are skeptical or truly curious, I have added a longer version which includes an unexplained breath, the April from above and the conversation between my husband, neighbor and I and the "others." It is essentially same recording, but adds to your background knowledge of voices and situation.
Longer version of above
Okay. This next one is one that deserves some discussion! My husband lets Prancer in. THen my neighbor says that the ghosts don't like her apparently cause she don't ever hear nothing. While she is saying this, you can hear them talking. Here comes the discussion part - a breathy, ghost-tone woman says I love these curtains/she's hurting followed by a man who says, "Oh, f***." My questions are: what do you think she says? It is NOT me, so it is not something I said (my memory of the night is pretty clear as I have been working on this particular EVP for weeks) . And it was NOT my neighbor, either. I was able to track the wavelengths of the voices and they are completely different. Plus, she admits, she doesn't like the curtains. What does she (our female ghost) say? What is the man talking bout with his vulgar response? PLEASE help me to interpret this as the more time and thought I put into it, the more I am getting turned around.
Love the curtains?
My husband, neighbor and I are later all talking about video drop boxes. You can hear us all. The ghost voice is the man who says, "yes," 2 seconds in and a loud, breathy, "YESSSS" towards the end. My husband also hears the female ghost after the male breathes/speaks into the recorder, but I can't tell for sure if it's her.
yes YESSSSS
Our conversation wraps up with a discussion about weatherizing. That isn't the important part. Trying listening for the hard breathing close to the mic...not from us - we are chatting at respectable distances from the recorder.
Breathing
The whole recording was only five minutes long, but it was full of voices that were not ours. Most of the five minutes have the man and woman whispering during our present day conversation.
The creepy day didn't end there - before bed, Prancer stood at the threshold to Kenzie's room barking uncontrollably at something we couldn't see. We had goosebumps and an overall edginess all day and night.
