NUMEROUS EVP's BELOW!!
Well, this day felt just like the others....Hubby still gone, gloomy weather. When I got home from work to an empty house, I went to the bathroom. Prancer, of course, followed me and sat by my feet. The door to my right wasn't all the way closed, so out of habit, I closed it tightly. As soon as I did, there were four distinct knocks on the door. Prancer didn't bark, just cowered under my legs and shook. Once I came out, I knew it would be a great day to record. So I began taping at 10 am and let it go for about an hour and a half. I placed it on the table with the black table cloth in the picture. It is a good spot, as it sits between two of what we figure to be the oldest rooms in the house. I began the EVP session a little differently, though. I began by stating that I listened to some recordings with aggressive swearing and explained that it is our house. We are not moving and we have to learn to get along. We don't have to be friends, but we have to be respectful. That hour and a half clip caught quite a few voices. No swearing, though - thank goodness! I actually heard a few new voices. Children from the July recording? Not sure. I ended up catching over 20 different EVPs, but I will only share the clearest with you below.
The first one is the coolest one. I am home alone at 10 in the morning typing on the computer when I hear a loud bang. I comment on it, stating that I have no clue what that was but that I have headphones on and I heard it. I return to typing at about :20. At :23 you hear a strange noise then what sounds to be a child say, "Sucka." That one is so obvious. So obvious, you might miss it. Listen for the child, but he/she is NOT whispering. It's AWESOME! For the more trained listener, after the child speaks you hear someone say what sounds like "Chloe" multiple times starting at :24. I still can't believe how clear that child is!
Bang! Sucka...
Now, if I would've been checking the recordings as I taped them, I would have known the child was around. Early in the tape, while it is silent from me working, you hear the child say, "Hi." :03
Hi
After I asked what that bang was and the child replied, a few minutes later I captured an adult response of, "Nothing." :08 I sense a cover-up as SOMETHING clearly made that sound.
Nothing
Another easy one to hear is again, when it is silent, at :20 you can hear someone say, "Yup."
Yup
Another easy one to hear is this next one. I am walking in the kitchen and talking to my sister on the phone. At :06 there is a voice that is not mine that says, "Pick up." My husband thinks it is commenting on my housekeeping!
Pick Up
While still on the phone with my sister, I comment that it was a little tough last night and that I think Connor's onto me (regarding my ghost blog). At :06 a voice clearly says, "Hearing." Was the person commenting on that my son is hearing me talk about it?
Hearing
I have another clear one for you followers out there. I took a quick call from my sister. After I hung up, I sat back down at the computer (all the pops and creaks) and as I am putting in my headphones, you can clearly hear a sentence. What do YOU think it says? My husband actually can make out a female followed by a male. How about you?
Clear Sentence
Hold on! Check this out. When I first heard this, I thought it said, "Choo choo busted or rusted" at :03 - :05 as I am working with my headphones on and the keys clicking away. I was WRONG! My husband figured it out - Choo Choo then the man says, "Bless you." SERIOUSLY! Alright, it's a pretty big leap to say that they sneeze; however, it's a fair assumption to make after listening to this evp. And I am so relieved to hear that mine is religious enough to bless the other!
Choo Choo Bless You
Now the last one I will post from this room is one of the toughest to hear, but well worth re-playing it a few times. You hear a jingle (that's me going into the bathroom), then at :06 you hear "April" whispered followed by, "Check his shoes" at :11. That is a pretty amazing EVP as you can understand every word in the entire sentence.
April, Check His Shoes
Later that day...
Later that day, I left the DVR running for another hour in Mackenzie's room because I just knew activity was going on. I left it running, but spent most of the time in the living room working on my blog. Surprisingly, when I wasn't in there, I didn't catch nearly as many EVPs. I guess they like to be around the living. I did catch a few, which I will share with you now.
The first one caught was right after I let the dog in through the door in the picture. Yo hear me close the door and at :05 you can hear someone whisper what sounds like, "April's back."
The next one is one that I think is pretty cool. If you follow the blog, you know that we haven't captured children since my sister was here in July. Well, I caught them being mischievous earlier in the day and here, I catch them shrieking JUST LIKE IN JULY. Same voice, same shriek. And it is noon on a Tuesday, so kids are in school. Take a listen - sound familiar?
The last one, I really can't explain. However, for you newbies, it is SUPER easy to hear. Enjoy, "Rolo" (?) at :05. Come to think of it, she does have a bunch of Tootsie Rolls all over her room...

ReplyDeleteI could hear the "Chloe" "Chloe" after the "Sucka..." EVP. Very cool. Jeff doesn't hear the "Sucka" but I hear it pretty clearly. Can't come up with anything else it might be...Awesome EVP!
ReplyDeleteMy hubby didn't hear it either the first time. He had to watch the time and not listen for a whisper. It's there, right out in the open. Thanks for your comments - I think it's a pretty cool capture, too. One of my favorites. I wish you could come back and help us to capture some more! You seem to attract the kids!
